Millstatt is a charming village set on the lakeside, surrounding it's 11th century Benedictine Abbey. The small village centre has a selection of shops and cafes and there's also an attractive lakeside promenade where you'll find the landing stage for the lake's boat service which takes you all around this 12km lake. With the Nockalm National Park nearby, the area boast tremendous walking and easy access to the walking trails in the surrounding mountains, with wonderful lake views.
