Peschiera is an excellent place to base your active family holiday. Your main attractions will be the brilliant theme parks right on your door step. Head to Gardaland, Europe’s 3rd biggest theme park, for an adrenalin fuelled day – Blue Tornado and Inferno are brilliant and don’t forget your classic log flume and rapids! Next stop – Aquaparadise: a theme park… in the water! Leave your stomach at the top when you drop 32 metres on ‘Stukas’, grab hold your nerve in the ‘Black Hole’! When it’s all got a bit much, head to the centre of the park, and soak up the rays at the side of the pool or watch the kids in the awesome wave machine!
For an (only slightly!) more relaxed day, try Movieland, check out the ‘U-571 Submarine simulator’, the ‘Terminator 5D game’, and train with Mahoney and Tackleberry at the entertaining ‘Police Academy’! After all this, and if you’ve still got the strength, refuel like a Knight at Medieval times. Eat roast chicken with your fingers and cheer on your Knight as he Jousts for his chance to win the Fair Princess. A first-rate evening of family fun.Why not try -
